Dr. Toney C. Parks has served as Sr. Pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church for the past 31 years. Being the Pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church has been one of his ministerial journey's greatest and most rewarding challenges.

In addition to his church pastoral duties, Dr. Parks is active in the community, is the former President of the South Carolina Congress of Christian Education, and is Moderator of the Enoree River Baptist Association. Dr. Parks earned the title Distinguished Professor of Practical Ministry and Biblical Counseling at Erskine Theological Seminary. He also serves as Chaplain of the Greenville City Police Department.

Dr. Parks is a State and National instructor on the subject of Church Leadership, Administration, and Policy for the South Carolina Education and Missionary Convention and the National Baptists Convention of America, USA.

Dr. Parks is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, a Masters's Divinity degree from Erskine College and Theological Seminary, and an earned Doctoral degree in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Dr. Parks received an honorary Doctorate from Morris College. He and his wife, Brenda, have been together for over 42 years. They are the proud parents of two sons, Hamilton and Donovan.
