Laurie Thompson grew up in Anderson, SC, she completed a B.A. in French and Business at Clemson University, earned a Bible Certificate from Columbia Biblical Seminary, Columbia SC and received her M.Div in Women’s Studies/Greek & Hebrew at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC. Her husband, Kevin, is a full-time hospice chaplain and a military chaplain with the SC Army National Guard. They have been married for 26 years and have three children: Luke, Lydiaruth and Canaan.
