Our guest speaker for the 2020 Clamp Preaching Lectures was HB Charles Jr. He is the Pastor-Teacher at the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church of Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida, where he has served since the 2008. Prior to joining the Shiloh Church, he led the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles for almost eighteen years. Succeeding his late father, Pastor Charles began his pastorate at Mt. Sinai at the age of seventeen – a senior in high school. He is the author (or contributing author) of several books including:  It Happens After Prayer, On Preaching, On Pastoring, The Difference Jesus Makes, Power in the Pulpit, Secret Sex Wars, and Nelson’s Annual Preacher’s Sourcebook 2016.
